How can social-emotional skills of adults in Israel be assessed, and in what ways should assessment tools be adapted to the local cultural context? Which aspects of CASEL’s SEL model are relevant to Israel and which require rethinking or adjustment? A new article describes the comprehensive research process of developing and validating the first questionnaire in Israel for the systematic assessment of social-emotional skills among the adult population, which is a significant step towards establishing research and practical infrastructure in the field of SEL in the Israeli context.
